Hello Everyone!!!

Hi there, long time no see!! (my fault!) I have been crafting, believe me, just not posting it here on my blog. Sorry! One of my goals for 2013 is to be a better blogger by posting on a more consistent basis and including pics and details of all of my projects. (check out my layout below)
Also, I have started a new series on my youtube channel called "Scrap & Sketch Saturday". It will be a collection of videos where I share projects (cards, layouts, etc.) that I have created using scraps from my stash and a sketch of some sort. Some of the sketches may be from Mojo Monday (for cards), Pinterest, books, magazines, or one that I've simply come up with, but I'll be sure to let you know where the inspiration came from. If you haven't yet subscribed to my channel, please do! My YT channel is gloriascraps2. (Hint: I'm planning on doing a giveaway soon!)
So, here are the projects I've created thus far in 2013. Thanks for stopping by!!
Hugs,

Gloria

If you haven't seen her, check her out on youtube, she's craftgalore108. The inspiration she provides is "endless". Jas is a total PRO at copic coloring, I'm super jealous of her talent!!!
Thanks for the inspiration Jas!!!

Layouts & Cards made using "Peaceful" collection by Authentique

Hello friends,
I really enjoyed working with this collection. The papers are so nice in texture and I love the hint of olive green.  I proved how versatile they are by making a LIFE layout that doesn't have anything to do with winter. I can't wait to put my pictures on these layouts!! Thanks for stopping by!

Family mini album (made using "Tell Your Story" collection)

Hi all,
I just completed another design team project for Heartfelt Creations! I have to admit, I wasn't very fond of the colors at first, but now I can honestly say that I'm in love with the color combo! It grew on me :) When I was assigned to work with this collection I had no idea all the yummy embellishments that it would include. Teresa Collins has outdone herself!!! Check out my youtube video to see the link for the tutorial I followed to make this album (click here to watch). Thanks for stopping by to take a look...

A Die for a Sketch - Challenge #3

Hello everyone,
After a short and sweet vacation with the family, it's been nice to get back into my craft room and playing with all of my craft yumminess! So, here's my project for this month's challenge, a baby boy card. Although it's simple I had fun making it.

I used Stampin Up papers, a Recollections stamp set, Card Word Puzzle stamp set from CTMH, Outdoor Denim ink, CTMH white embossing powder, CTMH neutral hemp, misc. white button brads, and a light gray 5"x5" card base from Studio G.  I hope you'll play along with the monthly challenges at www.adieforasketch.blogspot.ca .Thanks for stopping by!!

Latest Design Team projects for Heartfelt Creations Store

Hey all!
Here are my latest projects for the Heartfelt Creations design team. The first is a Christmas mini made from kraft envelopes. (Yes, Christmas in July!). I used the Christmas Emporium collection by Graphic 45, love it!!!! This is the second one I've ever made.

Next I made some some layouts and cards using the "Down The Boardwalk" collection by We R Memory Keepers. I have to admit that I would normally NOT be attracted to the style or colors of this one, but after using it, I fell in LOVE with the entire collection of papers and embellishments. I love how rustic everything is.

And finally I just completed this photo stand display using papers from the "Nostalgia" collection by My Minds Eye. (Tutorial for photo stand can be found at LakeAvenueDesigns youtube channel.) Wow! Could I just tell you how much I REALLY love this set!?!?!? These colors are gorgeous and the embellishments are so versatile, proof you'll see in the different themes in my cards :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
